Mem Fox books are a delight to read aloud and are great to share with children from babyhood up.
Start early - in the first few days of your baby's life, if you can - and the gentle rhythms of Mem's lovely stories will help foster a life-long love of books and reading.
My three children are all at high school now but I have many precious memories of reading Mem Fox's books to them when they were small as we snuggled together.
Mem Fox is Australian (like me!) and studied children’s literature at Flinders University in Adelaide.
During the course she wrote the first draft of Possum Magic, her first book, which has now sold over four million copies and is the best selling children’s book ever in Australia.
This list contains all the books Mem has written for young children.
A couple may be out of print but you should be able to get them from your library or perhaps from a second-hand bookshop or charity shop, if there's one near you.
