Dr Seuss Book Titles

On this page you'll find Dr Seuss book titles grouped according to the age group who'll most enjoy them.

Introducing Dr Seuss books to your kids is one of the fun parts of being a parent.

My three kids absolutely adored them and it was a bonus that my husband and I loved reading them because they were firm favourites in our house for many, many years.

Dr Seuss's real name was Theodor Seuss Geisel.

He was an American writer and cartoonist who wrote 44 books for children in total, most of them between the years 1945 and 1975.

About these Dr Seuss Books

In recent years, 26 Dr Seuss book titles have been relaunched by the publisher in paperback format with the titles divided into three reading strands -

  • Blue Back Books for parents to share with young children
  • Green Back Books for budding readers to tackle on their own
  • Yellow Back Books for older, more fluent readers to enjoy

These books are cheap to buy and are usually available at stores like Big W and K-Mart in Australia, as well as from book shops.

They're also available quite cheaply from my favourite online book shop, the Book Depository.

If you're looking for a gift for a child, a collection of these books geared to the child's age would be a lovely idea.
